: This is a rather simple question. Besides the Herbert Johnson fedora, which (in the opinion of the reader) is the closest, moderately priced hat(i.e. Stetson, Biltmore, Worth&Worth etc.) that could be bought in a large quantity, that could pass for an HJ or the one from the films? Any help is much needed and appreciated!

From some recent investigation I've been doing, I believe the Stetson 005 "Indy" Soverign series as sold by Miller hats seem to fit the bill rather nicely, though according to Miller, does not come with the dimensional cut brim, you do have three different brim widths to choose from, allowing one to find one to "fit" ones height and face shape. The price is a heck of lot nicer that the HJ too! Regards. Michaelson
