I believe they were referring to the snaps at the top and bottom of the flap that covers the zipper when the jacket is closed. It's odd that the Crusade jacket has exposed heads on the storm flap snaps (if I remember correctly) while the pocket snaps on all the jackets have their tops covered by leather. I remember some discussion a while back about this saying something to the effect that Peter didn't like the uncovered snaps, but couldn't change the costumers mind.
