That's how we got all our dogs. We either were given the dogs, or were about to give 'em to someone when the person we was about to give it to couldn't accept the dog. And one dog who is to me what Indy is to Indy, was our Weimaraner, Woody. He was kinda dumb, like Maramaduke, but was a cool dog. I have a lotta fond memories of that dog! I still get tears in my eyes as I look at pics or think about him. He was around when most of the cool things in my life happened. And he died a few years ago from cancer. Tumers(S/P) in his neck, his leg, and under his arm. It was on Oct. 11'th, the month of my birthday too. See ya, Shorty.
