The whip should be at the Smithsonian no doubt. Who knows, maybe it will end up there. The Smithsonian in fact bids on items at exclusive auctions. I saw an interview with a lady from the Smithsonian who does just that on PBS once. Anyway maybe someone can snoop around the Smithsonian and find out if they will bid on it, if I could just remember the lady's name I would call her myself to inquire about it. Hey, its our tax money thier spending, and if thats what you want, go get it. Danno
