: Hopefully this will not be another wild goose chase, ala "We can get you the official Indiana Jones hats from Miller...". I've approached hat retailers and wholesalers before with the specifications for the hat(5 1/2 inche untaperd crown, etc) and been given this kind of uneducated response.

I find it hard to believe that they could improve on the look of the high-crown Akubras. I'm hoping that they will keep a small stock of dark brown Bushmans and Drovers available, but I've had the same experience you've had with retailers and wholesalers. So...
