Aldens (a bit of a trivial question)

I just recently got my Alden Indy boots. They are GREAT!! I love them. Had them for a week or two now. Most dang comfortable shoes I've ever worn. However, I'm kind of wondering about the shoelaces. They already look like they're starting to get worn. Does anyone know how long it takes for them to wear out, and where I could get similar replacements?
