: I just recently got my Alden Indy boots. They are GREAT!! I love them. Had them for a week or two now. Most dang comfortable shoes I've ever worn. However, I'm kind of wondering about the shoelaces. They already look like they're starting to get worn. Does anyone know how long it takes for them to wear out, and where I could get similar replacements?

: Thanks,

Good morning. I had mine last for about 2 months, and then they broke right at the hook locations. I have found 45 inch dress type (like the mentioned combat boot laces) at a shoe shop that have done MUCH better in terms of lacing, comfort control and longetivity. I highly recommend these types of replacements rather than the 45 inch flat that come with the boot. Regards. Michaelson
