I think I can answer some of your questions. I, too ordered a LC jacket with a new finish. I decided on the LC because my planner is the same size as the grail diary and I needed the larger inner pocket to accommodate it.

The LC jacket does not have a snap-down collar like an A-2 does (I don't know about the ToD or Raiders jackets. You would have to special order a zippered inner pocket, and as for the hand warmer pockets, they are VERY small. I can barely wedge my hands into them!

As for the currency exchange rate, Peter told me that by using my Visa I would get the best price because of the strong U.S. dollar.
