Well, Indy HAS been married before. His wife Deirdre (never mentioned in the YIJC)died in a plane crash in one of Rob McGregor's novels.
He also has been engaged before to Molly whom was killed, and he fell
for Vicy heavily. In scenes that now are no longer part of the set there was a scene in which Indy's daughter says something to the effect of' "no ones ever been able to stop you dad." So he eventually married...whom, maybe Indy IV has the answer.
