Sorry, Goodsport, but I'm with Dirk here. The Old Indy bookends were the first thing I hated about the YIJC, and I'm glad they're gone.

Unlike almost everyone else here, I have always believed that the Indy series would someday rise to rival OO7 "Bond, James Bond" Comic book heroes of any age (Dark Knight Returns being the only exception) are not supposaed to grow old....they are supposed to be replaced by younger actors, and retooled to fit the changing world scene.
Whether or not George Hall was a good choice is, to me, irrelevant. And though Tessa may disagree, I don't believe most Indyfans ever wanted to believe that Indy would die of old age....but rather go out in a blaze of glory.
