Indy's magic hand in widescreen Raiders

this is a funny continuity error which I'm pretty sure is only visible in the widescreen version. When indy goes to free Marion who's tied up in the tent, after he stops cutting to explain why he has to leave her, watch his right hand (at the far left of the screen). First, he puts it on the post, high behind her head. Suddenly, its behind her neck, then, it's gone, then it's back high, then its back low. It's just a bit humorous, that's all.

Does anyone have info on the last stuntman who fights indy on the truck chase (climbs the top of the truck)? He has the most amazing combination of stunt/acting abilities. What else has he done?
