Calling all anthropologists

I was just wanting ask the members of the forum if there were any
anthropologist out there. I am not trying to pull a "hey I'm cooler
than you because I'm an anthropologist," bit or anything even close.

However, I am an American graduate student studying Archaeology and
cultural anthropology in Japan. I am trying to get into Waseda
University to study with Kondo, Jiro who is was the advisor to famed
egyptologist Yoshimura, Sakuji.

Anyway, long-story-short, Most of the people I have class with as
well as most professors have little, if any, respect for Indy. I
think this is really stupid because of all of the good press that a
character like Indy gives to anthropology, (in the popular realm.)

Anyway, I am a card holding nerd with the Wested jacket and the whole
nine yards but I am also truly devoted to the science of archaeology
and I just wanted to see if ayone else out there had any,"And then my
professor said..." stories related to Indy or the movies.
