Indy Stunt Show Closing

A little while back, somebody posted that the Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular in MGM Studios would be closing in January for renovations. There were rumors that it was going to be replaced by Temple of the Forbidden Eye (a la Disneyland) or closed down in some way. Any news on that? Also, will the Indy gift shops remain open despite the show being closed for renovation? Thanks in advance.
