: One of the biggest mistakes of my life was buying this "Infernal"game.
: It is so full of bugs that is almost unplayable.
: Level 4-down in the basement after having just made the machine work.
: Apparently I am supposed to climb up the wall to get out;correct?
: I go to correct spot and Indy takes three steps then he jumpcuts back to where he started.
: This happens if he tries to go up,left or right.
: I even exchanged the game for a new one and on the same spot its the same story.
: I know that you indy fans are good problem solvers...so...

: Maby its due to this Y2K thing I'm hearing about :-0

Which machine are you referring to, the clock or the bell mechanism? Actually, I'm currently somewhere in the middle of level 4, so I may or may not have encountered the machine that you are talking about.

Here are two things that may help you out:

1) You can get the IF patch at LucasArts' patches webpage. And...

2) Buy the official IF strategy guide. It's currently $19.99(US)+tax, but is very thick for a book of its price and definitely worth it! :)

Hope that helps! :D
