Herr Mac...other bungled lines?

I believe you. Herr Mac makes much more sense. But the way she says it it definitely sounds like "Air Mac", and that's what I thought it was when I was a kid, so that's what I always hear in my head. It's kind of like when I read books as a kid with words I couldn't pronounce- I made up a pronounciation at the time but then had a hard time learning the actual pronounciation later on!

There are other bungled lines in Raiders that are confusing...

When Indy says "Adios Obido" instead of "Adios Satipo" or "Adios Stupido" inside the South American Temple

Indy says to Marcus "Will she'll still be with him?" when is talking about going to find Abner. It sounds like a bizarre combination of "Will she still be with him?" and "Think she'll still be with him?"

They're probably just mispronounciations the filmmakers kept in.
