: I saw it on openeing night. The only thing that dissapointed me about the film is that it didn't sell out at my theatre, and it didn't beat The Truman Show in ticket sales. This is the funniest role I've seen Harrison play yet. And Anne Heche? What a waste of a lesbian. I haven't seen a screwball comedy this funny since His Girl Friday.

: SPOILER WARNING! Now who wasn't dissapointed when Ford and Heche fell through the ground into the underground cavern...and didn't face, like, ten booby traps, a horde of Tahitian natives, swing across a pit of sea snakes and walk out of there with a golden idol? C'MON!

You're absolutely right! What was the point of having them fall down there anyway? The ground gives way, they tumble, and 5 seconds later they crawl out into the light of day. WHAT'S UP WIT DAT!! Why even have them go down there? Nothing happened! On the other hand, it would have made perfect sence for them to find the treasure, then when the pirates did capture them, Ann could still have said "We have gold" and it would've worked perfectly.

That's the only complaint I had with the film, oh and the fact that David "Friend" Schwimmer was in it. Luckly he played the shallow boob the audience was suppossed to dislike, and so in that regard it was good casting because he didn't have to stretch any.
