Wonderful Judgment

Having just finished Rocky II on DVD, I'm reminded of the few times I remember not having an initial interest in watching a film as a kid:

Rocky II- Five minutes into it, and I was a boxing fan for life.

Karate Kid- Let's not talk about the injuries this film prompted.

Raiders of the Lost Ark- Almost 20 years later, and I'm still annoying to be around when it's on!

The problem, of course, was that I always wanted to watch either Star Wars or The Wizard of Oz, which, speaking of the latter, is excellent of DVD. The home movie footage of Judy Garland alone is worth the price of admission. You know, I hear they had to bind her breasts up for the role...but that is another knee-trembler altogether!!
