Yeah but Goodsport, "Golden Spider" is a fanfic, so it's not true Indy Canon. I really don't think Indy gives a rat's ass about his students. Besides possibly hitting on some of the females, he doesn't show any emotion towards his students (with the exeption of Deirdre Campbell in the novels "Indiana Jones and the Dance of the Giants" and "IJ and the Seven Viels". Indy ended up marrying her, but it can be argued that the Indy novels aren't canon because they clash with The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles).
