The Westeds are indeed fine jackets. I have owned a Temple since October of '98, and have enjoyed it immensely. One thing that I should mention is that the satin lining in my jacket is already wearing out. But I have worn the thing very hard. Living in northern Idaho, the cooler weather has had me wearing the jacket almost year-round. The lining wear is mainly at the elbows and at my hip where I wear my Leatherman. You might see if the cotton lining is any more durable. The leather and the stitching have held out magnificently. Get one of the side tabs caught on a screen door latch a couple of times and you'll see what I mean. I think they are great jackets and plan to order a Raider within the next year.
