I've also noticed a lot of continuity errors in the films. For example, in Temple of Doom, Indy's shoulder bag burns up and falls into the river below, right? Then when you see him heading back to the village, there he is with a whole new one as if nothing ever happened. I wonder if these obvious film flubs were put there on purpose as a tribute to those ol' Saturday matinee movies that had some of those problems in them, too.
