All we know is that Indy lived to be 100 (and may still be alive today), but nothing else in the time between that. This is why we need an Indy 4 movie. I totally agree with what your saying. I really dont think that it was on Lucas's mind to tie the young Indy with the Trilogy. I know he wanted to explain how Indiana Jones would of been as a kid and young man. The way i like to think of it is young Indy and old Indy as two different things. Im not a big fan of young Indy but i think the cronicles were great. Again though, i really wish Lucas tied everything together. Later,
