I liked "The Mummy" and am looking forward to the sequel. It's unfortunate that we'll only get one more Indy movie (if that) but hopefully the void can be filled with other adventure films.
In the old days we got lots of adventure flicks of all kinds; swashbucklers, westerns, Sinbad-type films, Foriegn Legion films, Robin Hood, etc. now we get only the occasional "Mummy," the James Bond films and cop-centered action films.
There is definately a hole there that needs to be filled. If it's filled with Indy flicks or more "Mummy" films or Lara Croft or Doc Savage or Dirk Pitt it makes no difference to me. I just want them to make more adventure films with great action and intelligent scripts.

Hell, if it's possible for some filmmaker to come up with a better adventure flick than "Raiders" then please bring it on. I for one would eat it up.
