Cheap ILM effect

Has anyone noticed this before? In Temple of Doom, in the scene where Indy, Willie, and Shorty are hovering by the edge of the mine cave, keep looking at Indy, as soon as the water gushes out. He looks so fake, and his arms look all long and decrepit. It always makes me laugh seeing that part, because it's just so screwed up. Ah, well...
