I love cop-out answers! Why? The reasons are too numerous to name! (nm)

: First of all, the third game didn't involve Ron Gilbert, the creator and writer of the first two. He gave the second game a "cliff-hanger" ending, and whatever story he had planned was lost with the third game. Secondly, the characters are different. Guybrush was not the same in the third game. He was badly drawn, poorly voiced and not funny.

: The humour in the game was the biggest problem. The first two had an almost British feel to the humour. The only person who made me laugh mildly was the disembodied skull. The amusement park idea was laughable however, as was the ending.

: There are just too many reasons to list...

: Basically, the game wasn't bad (or a pile of shit), just nowhere near as good as the first two.
