Indy IV will just never happen without the big 3... Ford Spielberg and Lucas are the 3 guys that, regardless of who else is in the project, MUST be involved. Lucas runs everything by Spielberg concerning Indy, and Harrison Ford isn't on the sidelines either. If Steve's not directing, there's no Indy ( unless Lucas and Spielberg voluntarily decide to give it to someone else, but that's a VERY SLIM chance ) ... and lets face it.... Indiana Jones IV might be no better than Alan Quartermain in the eyes of many without Harrison.

: "Ain't It Cool News" is reporting that Spielberg just signed on to direct "Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone" although it is unconfirmed. If it is true than what does this mean for the fate of Indy IV?

: Are we stuck waiting until Harrison Ford is so old that Indy IV is unviable?

: Can Indy IV be made and made well (cause if it ain't made well than I'd rather not have it) without Steven Spielberg? Is Harrison Ford the only unreplaceable element in Indy IV? Or is even he replaceable?
