I haven't noticed this. Still, maybe some stores are making sure they have plenty left for when "The Phantom Menace" comes to video in April (in the words of Homer Simpson: WOO-HOO!!!) so that people will be tempted to buy them all. I remember when "TPM" came out, most stores I went to suddenly had tons of copies of the originals again.
