Pan back and we see Indy, from the back, pushing down on a plunger. The whole building blows up and the audience cheers.

Why do we need to see Indy at all? It could be like the Wampa from Empire Strikes back, where you only see certain parts of the "monster", Lucas pointed out that "...there is a certain creative way to doing that..."
