Taking them up yourself is not too difficult. In fact, I've tended to have Peter make them a bit long so I could adjust them so they are just right. I've shortened them myself by opening the lining on the inside of the left sleeve and turning the whole thing inside out. Not recommended if you’re not handy with a needle and thread. The tailors I talked to wanted $40 to do it. I'm just cheap.
