Rene Belloq novels?

Ahoy there my fellow Indyfans,
I asked this question a long time ago, and I'd like to see the current opinion. Anybody else out there interested in seeing some sort of series of Belloq novels? Belloq was sort of the anti-Indiana Jones, and I think he must have had a mildly interesting career in his chosen field of artifact procurement. I know some folks think that the less said about Belloq the better, but I'm of the opinion that now that the Indy novel well has run dry, we'll need to get our fix some other way. Belloq was probably 10 or so years older than Indy, and that could mean some stories set in the 1920s. And wouldn't it be smooth if Indy and Belloq had met briefly during the War? Perhaps I'm just rambling like a madman, but I'd like to hear what you guys think. Thanks for your time.
