I don't think Lucasfilm would mind making more Indiana Jones or Young Indiana Jones, its finding a place to market them. Viacom (the parent company of Paramount that owns the Indiana Jones films) might be a more logical target.
Convincing them that UPN could use a project with the name recognition of IJ, and it would create more interest especially in the YIJ tapes, and prime the pump for the next IJ film
whenever it might appear, could get them to approach Lucasfilm about making more IJ television, particularly a story with the hook of Marion and Abners backstory hinted at in Raiders.
