Authentic Raiders props

I recently purchased at auction replicas of the staff of Ra medallion and the golden fertility idol that were made from the original molds. These items were not licensed by LucasFilm. However, propmakers from the movie presumably made extras for themselves or for sale.

I have compared the pieces I have to the photos in the book "From Star
Wars to Indiana Jones: The Best of the Lucasfilm Archives", and mine
match exactly, even down to the imperfections from the molds.

I have seen a number of Ra medallions offered at www.ebay.com and have the email address of a guy who claims he can get more.

As for the fertility idol, I have heard of one other being auctioned
online, but the seller refused to provide photos or any solid evidence
that he actually had a replica. He was also selling the prop because he was moving out of state and wanted to unload some items before he left. Sounded fishy all around.

The bottom line is that there may be more replicas out there for sale. Also the replicas offered by PITA Productions are poor duplicates of the real thing.
