: : : : Arnold was a victim of his own success. People just got tired of him firing weapons with unlimited magazines and never getting killed. Plus, he went under the knife to get his defective heart valve repaired. And now, back to Indy... -CP

: : Well, John Wayne did it for years, on one lung no less, and we loved him until he died. Go figure! And as you say, back to Indy......Regards. Michaelson

: Michaelson, I think you're thinking of Yul Brenner. I know he had a lung removed before the filming of "The King and I". Never know to watch the film after the dance numbers he was sucking on oxygen. But the Duke? Never heard about him operating on one lung.

: By the way, who's this "Indy" we're getting back too? :-)

John Wayne had his cancerous right lung removed before the making of "The Sons of Katie Elder". And we mention Indy here just as a smoke screen to make believe this posting is Indy related. I guess it didn't work, huh?
