I don't think Indy was ever run in any newspaper, but I could sure imagine that happening.
Anyway, I don't know if Roy Chapman Andrews was REALLY the actual Indiana Jones that George and 'Steve based the FABULOUS character on, but Andrews sounds VERY similar....
