Hey. I remember that, too. When I beat Fate of Atlantis in '95, I was still a huge fan of YIJC, so of course I wrote a letter to Lucasarts to inquire about the next Indy game. I received a kind response a few weeks later saying that another Indy game might be a possibility, but that the Young Indy slant had been pretty much abandoned. I was elated and heartbroken at the same time. (And don't think that didn't hurt!) I made do with the mediocre NES YIJC game and the totally LAME Sega Genesis version. Ugh.
