Here's the latest batch of in-jokes that I have discovered.

Lucasfilm's ILM department is housed in a building bearing the title:
Kerner Optical Labs (KERNER as in the Nazi in Fate of Atlantis!!!)

In Last Crusade, Henry tells Indy: "But I found the clues that will
safely take us through- in the chronicles of St. Anselm!"

While perusing a map of Highway 101 and Marin county, I discovered that there is a place called San Anselmo. After reading
the book Skywalking, I discovered that Lucas used to live there until
1980!

In the same book, I found a picture of Indiana Jones that I
have never seen in my life: it shows George Lucas and Harrison Ford
sitting on the tires of the flying wing in Tunisia during the filming
of Raiders. Harrison has his arm propped up on one knee and is leaning
his head into one hand, with an expression that most likely says:
"I'll be glad when this is over..." I found it very cool as it is
also a picture of Indy in a non-screen candid shot. He is wearing
everything but the leather jacket. It's really cool. I'll see about
getting my digital camera and e-mailing the picture to those who
request it (but it won't be until sometime next month).
