I wear the fedora a lot. People notice the Stetson label and comment on it being a quality hat. No one has yet made the Indy connection. The problem I have found is that the modern world is not structured around hats. There are no hat rack, so you have to either lay the hat on the brim, or turn it over on the crown. And indoors, you have to carry it. If I am going to be outside for a long time, I wear the hat. If I am going in and out of buildings, I don't. Also, take a look at the number of people wearing country and western style hats, and safari style hats.
