Disappearing "X", "Fedora"'s outfit.

Anybody ever notice that the X in Last Crusade disappears off the floor as soon as Indy starts banging on it?
The only time it shows up is when Indy climbs the stairs and looks down, it isn't there the rest of the time.

Is Indy's role model, the guy with the fedora at the beginning of LC, wearing INdy's jacket? The shirt definitely looks different, but the jacket and the hat (obviously) as well as the pants look pretty close.
