: Hey Patterson, I am glad you like the new lambskin. I've got it too, and love it. Like I've told you before, my pocket is on the wrong side as well, but you will get used to it. Just remind yourself in this way, "heavier jacket left side, lighter jacket right side".

: I of course do not have the leather facings, and the zipper on the inside pocket, but I've done something to the inside of the collar where the hook strap is. I found this stuff you can find in most shoe departments...liquid leather. I found that by mixing it with a darkbrown almost black acrylic paint, it matched the color of my jacket. I tested this out on some fabric, and held it up to the jacket. With each test, I got closer till I came up with the right shade and color. I then "painted" the liquid leather in that part of the collar, very carefully staying within the seams and saturating the cotton, and when dry it looked just like leather. And now I have a synthetic leather facing on the inside of my collar and to the naked eye you can't tell. It really made the jacket look better, it beat sending it back to Peter, or getting a leather specialist to do it. I am one for experimenting, and since it is my jacket this was the only thing I've done and will ever do to alter it.

: I also keep my side straps tight, till there is about a 1 1/4 inch gap between side pocket and back panel, this way the jacket sides sits at the sides when open like in the movies. During cold spells I loosen them up a bit so I can close the jacket without damaging it. Well, I am sorry for ranting on, congradulations Patterson on the newest member of your jacket family!

: Sincerely,

: S William
