Movie on A&E

I watched a movie about the Golden Spider on A&E last night. Everyone had fedoras. Some were teardrop, some center dent, all were snap brim. Every style I have ever seen. Except one. There were none with a tall, straight-sided crown. The movie was set in the early 1950's, so maybe the style had changed. They were nice looking fedoras, though.
