If you are not bored, there are three books you can get by the shelves. These are a guide to the catacombs, a "how to fly a biplane" guide and Hitler's Mein Kampf. To find them sweep along the bookshelves with "What Is" until "what is books" turns into "what is book" (no -s-). Pretty tiring and boring. You don't really need the books, the game is skillfully enough designed to have alternate routes of gameplay, but you earn Indy Quotient points and it will make your life easier in the future stages of the game. Again, have fun...

---Just wanting to help you; do you get sound through your sound card in the game? If you'd like your AdLib/Sound Blaster sound card to play the sounds (instead of the PC speaker) there is a different indy256.exe file to downlowad from LucasArts.
