: : : I've heard that by the way they are made and such, that orthopedic shoes like Aldens not only help your feet, but also help your posture when standing.

: : : Any Alden owners want to comment on this???

: : : Thanks in advance.

: : I don't know about the posture statement. They do allow me to stay on my feet hours longer with fewer problems than I ever experienced before. The support is excellent. Regards. Michaelson

: According to my chiropractor, all long-term chronic back problems have a basis in the fact that we wear shoes that are either poorly made (orthopedically) or improperly sized. Proper footwear allows your feet to work the way they are supposed too. As a result, your feet feel better and your back does not have to compensate.

: Cheers!

In retrospect, initially the new Aldens can cause rounding of the shoulders, as you'll find yourself looking down and admiring your new boots while walking down halls. This will last until the newness wears off. During this time you'll also a tendency toward more accidents, as you'll find yourself walking into more doors doing the same admiring of the Aldens. Did I suffer any of these occurances when I got my first pair? I plea the fifth! (grins) Regards. Michaelson
