Cancellation of game for Playstation kills me hopes for new figures...

Well, I have heard the news about the 86'ing of the Infernal MAchine game for the PSX...DARN IT! I was hoping in the back of my mind that once it was published, figures based on the game would be produced. Heck, they do it for all of the other games with characters it seems (Tomb Raider, Crash Bandicoot, Final Fantasy VIII, Metal Gear, etc.). So my quetion is, will ANY game platform see an Indy game? How about for the Playstation 2? Anyone got any ideas? Later!
