The deal with Sony ended long ago when they cancelled Podracers for the PSX because it "looked like shit." Since then, despite the fact that Lucas was impressed with the PS2, there've been shakey relations between LucasArts, it's almost-sister company Factor 5 (Rogue Squadron, Indiana Jones' Greatest Adventures) and it's subcompany Koei (WinBack: Covert Operations, crossware development for Aerofighter Assault) with Sony and it's hardcore affiliates. LucasArts is definately squaring toward Dreamcast, the PC, somewhat towards the Nintendo, and even the recently announced X-Box a lot more than Sony. Obi-Wan, IM, Anakin's Speedway and just about every Lucas Learning software that's already been announced for the PC has already been announced for the DC and Nintendo, whereas there are 2 more games scheduled for second half 2002 for the PSX. It will not be coming out on the PSX, nor the PS2, but rumors abound that it'll hit the big N and it's been confirmed for Sega's dream machine. Keep hope.
