Temple of Doom - Annoying Cuts

I just bought the remastered version of the three Indiana Jones movies. As I live in Germany, I bought the European (British) version of the tapes. I was quite irritated when I noticed that Temple of Doom had suffered some cuts.
For example, we do see the torn-out and beating heart, but not the process of tearing it out. And they seemingly wanted to spare us wimpy Europeans from watching Shorty being whipped.
Can anybody tell me whether the US version is complete? If it were, I would consider ordering it at Amazon, but otherwise...
