Does Lucas HAVE to executively produce?

I posted this in another forum, but I had to get your opinions. Here:

I mean producer's scout for locations, etc. but they're not as important as director's and the movies' stars. So what the heck be these guys jappin'? *Jive translated into: What the heck are these guys talking about?* Lucas is getting one the more better halves writing it and Rick McCallum will be producing it, Spielberg will be directing it, and Harrison Ford(Possibly with John Rhys Davies, Sean Connery, Jonathan Ke Quan, Kate Capshaw Spielberg, Karen Allen, etc.)that's really all you need. Lucas has a good script and for it not to interfere with SW, when Ford and Spielberh have a clear path they can make it and it won't even bother Lucas 8-) Unless he's planning on having Harrison Ford play a cameo or something in Ep II or... Ahhh, I doubt it, hehe. See ya, Shorty.
