HJ Hat Status?

Any of you order-pending folks seen anything yet?

I'm anxious to find out about your experience and about the hat.

This is the one item I'm completely on the fence about because it seems the order experience is all over the place and despite the fairly high hat-quality consensus I see in the archives, I have more than a little trepidation of leaving $300+ out in the ether somewhere! ;-)

Does anyone know if paying a personal visit to the shop makes a difference in turnaround time?
