: All you whip owners out there could you list the pro's and cons of both the david morgan indy whip and the mark allen version? I would greatly like to know being as I the whip will be my next piece of indy gear and the allen costs oh so less. So any one out there own both? or at least a mark allen? what are they like in terms of craftsmanship, and construction? Are they as dureable as the David Morgans?

: thanks,

Today I talked to Mark Allen and he doesn't hold David Morgan's
bullwhips in high regard, unfortunately. He made some comment to
the audience like: "David Morgan makes his whips too heavy." Then
Alex Green told me that "David Morgan knows braiding, but can't use a
whip." I am greatly disappointed in their attitude toward what I
consider to be the finest whips in the world. Alex Green even tried
to tell me that they sell BETTER whips than David Morgan's at the
WWAC shop. I am forever a David Morgan fan. Besides, that is their
opinion. It doesn't mean they are right.
