I would just add a bit of trivia:

As Indy wanders through the "Last Crusade" traps in the Grail cave, he steps out the letter tiles spelling "J(I)EHOVA", or, the name of god.
"Jehovah" is not a Hebrew word; it is a scribe's Latin transliteration of YHVH, to which had been added the diacritical vowel marks for "Adonai" (Hebrew word).

The word "Jehovah" was first used in 1516, and first appeared in an English text in 1530. It is thus highly unlikely that the Crusade-era Grail knights would have used this word when building their boobytrap. Ergo, using the archaeological principle of terminus ante queum, etc., one may infer that the Grail cave traps were constructed after the mid-16th century...
