A Question on Marcus....

Just wondering, thinking about the fact that Denholm Elliott cannot be in Indy IV. Would it be safe to assume that most would feel, as I do, that they'd rather not see any other actor play Marcus Brody?

For my part, I think that it would be fitting to have Indy learn of Marcus' death, and perhaps have an onscreen funeral as part of the plot of the film. Not that I'd want Marcus to have been a victim of Nazi terrorism, or anything like that. I don't know. It's just that I'd rather see Marcus Brody as Denholm Elliott's character, and that the tragedy of his passing should be reflected onscreen.

Don't burn me. Maybe it does sound a little cheesy. But I think that it would be even sadder to see someone else playing Marcus.
