Hey, Bud. That is one smooth site. I'm a bear myself. A Cherokee friend of mine once informed me of this, and looking at the site only reinforced my belief. I'm sure that you know that in most Native American and African myths, the hare/rabbit is considered "the tricksters", the one who always pulls one over on his enemies. Remember the old Brer Rabbit stories? Those are the Americanized versions of the myths the slaves brought with them from Africa. I won't get into the fact that Brer Fox and Bear represent the slave traders and plantation owners... Anyhow, I dig Shamanistic sites. What's your Chinese Zodiac symbol? I'm a fire snake. Oh no! Why did it have to be snakes?
